Is God Too Late?

I woke up with this song in my heart. "Hallelujah, He Has Won The Victory." The lyrics go on to say that "death could not hold Him down."  The Holy Spirit was encouraging me, singing in my heart, as the secret parts of me were saying "Yes, but will He be on time?"

Death could not hold Him down; faith; prayer; miracles; believe; Christianity

We all have those moments that circumstances say that all may be lost. We don't just need our miracle now, we need it yesterday!  Of course, that isn't accurate. We are still here - living, breathing, praying, believing. If death could not hold Him down, then nothing can hold Him back

We have a tendency to believe that our answer to prayer must be done in a certain way, at a certain time. Aren 't we silly! Our God is the Amazing, All-Powerful, All-Knowing Creator of Heaven and Earth. He has infinite ways to meet our needs and beyond - overflowing our lives with blessings, favor and MIRACLES.

Did the disciples or ANYONE think that Jesus would be raised from the dead? No! In fact, they didn't think God would let it go so far as to let him die. But He did. God had a far better plan. His plans are perfect plans!
So...
Do not stop believing.
Do not give up.
Do not EVER give up.

Talk to yourself today. Talk back at the devil.
Let your words show that you do believe.
You KNOW that God will do it!

Speak God's Word.

But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from

the agony of death,

because it was impossible for death to keep

its hold on Him.

Acts 2:24 NIV

God's Word Always Works

Speak Gods Word www.speakgodsword.blogspot.com

There are not many things you can trust in all the time but believe this: you can trust in God's faithfulness and trust in His Word. Read Isaiah 55:10-11

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.    Isaiah 55:10-11

This promise from God is one of the great reasons to pray His Word (the Bible.)
Why waste time trying to figure things out when you know from this scripture alone that God's Word is your answer?

Time best invested is the time you spend agreeing with God. Speak His Word, think His Word, sing His Word, pray His Word. Make it a part of you!

He is faithful!

When Tough Times Come Will You Be Ready?

Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee Psalm 119:11 SpeakGodsWord.blogspot.com

It is said that "to be forewarned is to be forearmed." Or that "prevention is worth a pound of cure." ...Benjamin Franklin

When tough times come, and they will, taking a faith stand will be very hard if your heart is devoid of the Word of God. Those who have built up a wealth of scripture in their hearts and minds are in a great place. They have so much to draw on in the face of difficulty. It will bubble right out of them like a bubbling brook. Faith will be right there, ready to go to work for them.

Please do not despair if you have fallen down on the job. Maybe you didn't even know there was a job to be done. This is totally new to you. This is the day to start. Hide God's Word in your heart every day. Build yourself up strong in the Lord.

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
Psalm 119:11 KJV

Start with this scripture.
Write it on a piece of paper or index card.
Memorize it.
Pray it.*
Relax and trust God.
Build up an arsenal of scriptures that you say aloud every day.
Faith will rise. Things will eventually change. God loves you!

*How to personalize this scripture in prayer:
Say out-loud something like this... "Lord. I have made my  mind up to read your Word, meditate on the scriptures and HIDE Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.  I know it will work because You are the Good and Faithful One. In Jesus' name, amen"

No Fear Here

peace of God; BIble; scriptures; scriptures about fear; peace

Do you struggle with fear? We all do, at varying degrees, from time to time.
Know that fear is not from God.
He gives us peace.
So, bind the spirit of fear with your words and tell it to go, in the name of Jesus.
Confess that you have power, love and a sound mind.
Do it till you feel that peace of God come. It will.

Two Little Tools For Your Spiritual Toolbox
While you are waiting for me to get the scripture pages loaded up here, this is a little pocket-sized book, "You Can Have What You Say" by Kenneth E Hagin that has helped me so much and it will help you, too. You can carry it with you.

Leave a copy where you can get your hands on it in a time of need. This sounds funny but I have one in the bathroom. There have been times in my life that was the only place I could go to be alone to talk to God.  It is less than $2 on Amazon, not including shipping.

 faith; power of confession

Another inexpensive little gem is "God's Creative Power" by Charles Capps. Again, a treasure in a little book for less than $2 bucks. This one is on my kitchen table for everyone to read!
